I hang around too many car auctions.. you'll see the seller bidding on his own stuff all the time to run it up.

that doesn't mean it's worth $5. someone probably ran it up on you on purpose. plus, often people that show up to auctions don't know the true value of things and think because it's an auction they got it for a deal.

nurses love me. my veins are big in my arm there. they have no trouble finding one to stick it in. I had a nurse put an IV in my foot once and the doc flipped out on her for it. apparently you can do it but it's an absolute last resort. she did it because my arms were wrapped up. he told her to put it in my hand instead. he apologized to me at least 6 times. well I ended up arbitrating it. I think they locked the motor up at the auction riding it around with 1.5 qts of oil in it. even with a jump box it turned over about 1/2 a revolution before it came to a jolting halt of metal on metal impact. I think the valves are hitting the pistons but who knows. all I know is it ran going through and now it wont turn over. it's a good thing I wanted to start it before I left. because once you sign for it and leave it's yours.

nope. I don't take interest in any cruisers at all. or triumph for that matter. the only triumph I know about is a speed/street tripple and the daytona. you could have told me it was a ducati and i would have to take your word for it. I'm not "into" bikes as much as i'm into riding mine. I could care less about most people's bikes especially the cruiser crowds.

I stole a 2005 GSXR 750 at the auction today. $800. that's right i didn't forget a zero. but it has some issues. I'll know more about it tomorrow when I bring it home. it didn't want to stay running and it was in a minor crash. I know it needs a clutch cable. but I need as much info on these as I can get. this is my first suzuki sportbike. yeah I'm a yamaha guy. and they're easy to work on thanks to the built in diagnostics. I would appreciate all the help you guys can give me. I'll even let you see a picture of it...

id just run a few self tapping zink plated screws into it and call it a day. it's an old truck after all.

don't bother using a tender. they never stop charging and that will ruin it faster than leaving it sit. just charge it up once a month if kept below 60 degrees 2 times a month kept above 60. (yuasa recommendation) if it's an AGM battery you don't need to charge it at all. they have the ability to sit 12-15 months without a need for a charge. my battery is still the stock battery. and it's never been externally charged. highly recommend these GS brand AGM batteries. (yuasa usa). I do use stabilizer... always. gas is only good for a few weeks (6-8) I was reading. fine for a lawnmower not so fine for a high performance FI engine in modern vehicles.

it's good exercise for being cooped up inside so much. but the older I got the more my back said to buy a snow blower. so I did. my drive is way too big for a shovel. it needs a plow actually. and being on a hill makes worse of course.
