I don't live on a road like that, even I can relate. I think the biggest problem is if you like to ride it in 3rd at 65mph it sounds like you are flying. if guys would be more discrete about it (quieter exhausts and keeping it in a higher gear) maybe less people wouldn't notice us too much. I've always been on the fence about passing on the double yellow. as I hate to follow someone who blatantly ignores the posted speed limit (doing 35 in a 55). but I know when I do pass them it probably makes them mad.

agm has a very low self discharge rate. I don't know what guys do to kill batteries so fast but they should be getting at least 4+ years from a battery if they don't keep draining it with lights or an alarm etc. I never put mine on a charger (never have) or a tender and it's the original battery with a build date of sept 2002 on it. one more thing for everyone, if you store your battery indoors for the winter you need to charge it 2 times a month. and if you store it in temps below 60 you only have to charge it once a month. AGM batteries do not need a battery tender. they can sit for over a year without a charge. that's what makes them better than lead acid batteries. you could get the scorpion battery they sell probably $20 less. a lot of guys on other forum's have them and seem to have good luck with them.

it's 10 years old....$2300 is pretty ambitious for a 10 year old bike with a salvage title and it's clearly been "altered". you can't just fit one of those kinds of handlebars on a bike like that. make no mistake he used the words rebuilt title but it actually means it's a salvage title. if it wasn't ever impounded by the cops, then it's been totaled.

you should at least use 2 straps. those things aren't that strong. I'd hate to find out while sitting under it.
