  1. I've had it for a few years now and think it's absolutely worth it. I love being able to watch all the practice and qualifying live, and it's been great for getting me more into the sport.
  2. No personal experience with one although I have read that it's the first of the ZX-10R's that won't try to kill you every 8 seconds.
  3. Almost have the latest Hail-bike where I want her: I'll get some better pics with a proper camera once it warms up a bit.
  4. I can sweep in whatever group I'm needed. I could probably lead one of the slower group too, but I want to wait and make absolutely sure I can make it before I'd volunteer to lead though.
  5. Awesome video, Nivin. Looks like a great time. If I could talk my wife into it (probably not that difficult), I'd definitely be up for an OR West Coast riding vacation.
  6. Picked up a basic pistol cleaning kit last night and spent some time learning to field strip and clean my Ruger. In about 20 years I don't think this thing had ever been cleaned. Fortunately it hadn't seen a lot of use either, but still - it was pretty dirty. All clean and oiled now.
  7. I literally have tears in my eyes. It flows much better this way, although I'm not sure that's necessary a good thing. We are a messed up bunch.
  8. Excellent choice. I hear only super cool people own crossplane R1's... ECU flash and a good set of pipes are a must to unleash the full sound and fury.
  9. I'm betting that the championship will be down to Lorenzo and Pedrosa who will alternately dominate most races. In the end I'd give it to Lorenzo just based on his consistency and the fact that the M1 seems to be working really well this year. Marquez will win at least one - I'm guessing Austin since it's a new circuit and he was very fast in testing. Rossi will podium regularly and win one, maybe two races. Don't count out Cal either - I think he has the potential to win at least one this year if he can keep the bike off the deck. I also give a small chance that Marquez will just blow everyone away, or that Rossi returns to form and wins a 10th championship. Regardless I'm more excited for this season that I've been in a long time.
  10. That looks like something I'd put together. I'm guessing no one told him they sell sheds at Home Depot
  11. I think Sunday was going to be "Bowel-Distending", but Nivin couldn't fit it on the t-shirts.
  12. I'll be wearing a suit and pretending to be interested in what my in-laws are doing. Lame. Hopefully it turns out well for you guys. The roads were decent last weekend and the weather is looking even better.
  13. I don't think we'll be moving at 'shin-gina and a helicopter ride' pace on 555 for this ride, so hopefully it won't be too bad. Also, I was told that the pocket-rifling was part of the club rules, right after signing my title over to UP.
  14. At this point I'm doing a same-day down and back. No plans to stay overnight.
  15. +1 I consider anything over 300 a good day, and right around 400 to be ideal. It takes some time to get used to riding those distances, but once you get used to it, it's all you'll want to do.
  16. I would think that meeting up in Millersburg would almost make more sense than Bolivar/DQ since it's in the right direction. The ride down either 83 or 60 is a good way to get down to the meet-up area. Either way, I'm planning on making it.
  17. Except it wasn't the end...
  18. The WRX/STi are supposedly going to debut with a tweaked version of the direct-injected 2.0 turbo from the '14 Forester, so it should have plenty of power (I'm guessing 275 ~ 300 in the WRX). The rumor I'm curious about is if they really are looking to use an electric turbo that would be completely de-coupled from the exhaust. I'm guessing that could completely eliminate lag and probably make for some impressive power delivery characteristics.
  19. FTFY That concept looks great, and I'm hoping they are able to translate it into production without too much watering-down. I'm also curious how they'll work the styling into a hatch. I love my Rex, but she's not exactly a looker. Something like this would definitely have me looking to upgrade down the road.
  20. Back home. ~150 miles for me, and surprisingly good conditions out there. Great way to kick off the season. Thanks for putting this together, Ryan.
  21. Don't worry Nivin, I'm not envisioning one of our 'usual' rides this early in the year. I know that I'm going to be tip-toeing around the corners until we get some good, hard rain to wash all the crap away.
  22. Yes, sir. It's only about half an hour away for me, so I'll just see everyone there.
