  1. Impressive. I'm interested in seeing what the GITD grout will look like.
  2. WOW Just when you think you have it bad.... My prayers go out to him and his family.
  3. Heal up bro. Glad you are on the road to recovery.
  4. Not this thread again...It's been making the rounds.
  5. Just to answer a few questions: The TV is 3 years old. The home theater is HT-S8230. Here is the manual for the home theater system. I have the PDF for the TV service manual and the hardcopy of the TV owner's manual. http://support.radioshack.com/manuals/ome31-5037.pdf
  6. Ahhh... So..what's the consensus for those that have played both? Target age is 10, 9 and 8 years old. GH or RB?
  7. Damn, I was gonna get Rock Band for the kids at Xmas time. Fugg that..if the drums are failing.
  8. My oldest has a Tv in his room now..and I have a Tv in the basement. i want to rearrange this room, and I can't with this TV in there. There is a big window that you can't see in the pics...and it forces me to put this TV in this spot only. I don't have anywhere else to put it. I'm trying to sell my house soon too, and it's one less thing to move (I hate packing shit up). I can kill two birds with one stone. The TV is flawless..and I'll miss it. The Onkyo system was purchased earlier this year, and I never got around to installing a system in my basement. I figured I would throw it in to sweeten the deal, since I already have a Klipsch/Kenwood system that has served me well for 10 years now.
  9. The Onkyo system has never been used. The TV is in perfect condition. I have a PS3, an Oppo DVD player and an HD DirecTV receiver connected to it and they all look great. I have the remotes for both. I also have the service manual for the TV which I purchased a few months ago. If you want to get into the service menu and tweak the TV (calibration), you'll need this. The stand swivels from side to side so you can change the viewing angle if you're off axis. The TV accepts SD cards for firmware upgrades or to look at pictures. This will be included as well. The price for all 3 is $650 for OR.NET. You can check craigslist for the going price of a 52" DLP. Considering my price is much lower AND I'm throwing in the stand and a home theater set up, it's a steal. You'll have to come pick it up..obviously I'm not going to ship it. 10. I'm doing good, considering. I'm still limited in what I can do...no more MMA (probably forever)..weight lifting is hampered..no running....but I'm walking and I still have a leg, so I'm happy.
  11. I think we should close the thread on that note. Well said.
  12. Thank you for saving me the trouble.
  13. Any mods reading this thread? Can we get a separate 'Gaming' forum, with sticky's for each of the three major consoles (PS3/360/Wii)?
  14. You know what sucks? We can't ride our bikes and we sit on here and pay way more attention to politicians than they deserve.
  15. I didn't miss it..it just didn't mean much to me.
  16. I liked Ron Paul's ideas...the problem was, he would never pull 95% of it off. Too many 'checks and balances' and roadblocks in the way. I actually agreed with most of what he said.
  17. Let me expand on that... This govt tends to work for some, more than others. We need to take it back.
  18. Mike, I agree with you on the checks on balances. I'm not looking forward to the Dems running the whole government. I believe the checks are in place for a reason..although sometimes it creates grid lock..I guess I would rather see both sides of the coin represented instead of only one. But you know what? Blame the Republicans. This landslide was set up because people are fed up with what they have been doing. They dropped the ball. If they were taking care of business, this would not have happened. I think this is a wake up call for the Republican party.
