  1. So, you default to bash someone because of his background, and default to someone who...sounds more..."American"? Help me out here.
  2. If you ask me, his lack of experience makes him a better candidate. The 'experience' you speak of, has us in the mess we are in now. Let's face facts..NO ONE HAS THE EXPERIENCE TO BE PRESIDENT. It's WHO they surround themselves with. That whole experience excuse is just a cover up for other reasons.
  3. LOL! We know what you want for your birthday!
  4. Happy Bday maaaaann!!!! Glad you made it to another one. I'll buy you a belated bday brew next time I see you.
  5. Ahh..figures. I guess that's just as well. I need to go put these new brake lines and caliper on the ride. I'm headed to the garage..
  6. Allright folks..decent weather today and tomorrow. Looks like a group of folks might be heading to SE Ohio for some riding tomorrow. Hopefully I can join em. If not, I'll be somewhat local. What's the deelio for this weekend?!?! I can't stay gone for long, but I can get a nice ride in today and tomorrow. Everyone throw ya plans on here and let's meet up.
  7. I think around 10 ponies is the usual gain with a Full system and a PC III...from what I've heard/read.
  8. I had it dyno'ed last year, and basically DTM just fixed my air/fuel ratio. The HP was the same on both dyno's. The PC III and Exhaust gave me 10 HP. It was 155 stock. The bad thing about the Muzzy is the loss of back pressure, which affected my torque #'s. I'm not trying to squeeze blood out of a turnip though. It's plenty fast. The only thing I would like to change is to move the power band more towards the lower RPM's. When I hit 165, the only thing holding the power back is the limiter. It's not worth chasing those extra few HP's to me though.
  9. LOUD. Not bad..much better than stock. You can tell she can breathe much better now.
  10. I'll jot that down for future reference.
  11. YUP! Been there...done that. That forward stance does not do a set of tired arms any good. I like the looks of that bike though. Just not ready for the big jump to cruiser mode.
  12. I like the looks of the M109R2. If I had a colostomy bag and a Viagra perscription I'd buy one in a heartbeat. No..seriously..I think it's a good looking bike.
  13. +1 on the comfort, but I like my sport bike too much to give it up. I could definitely see me in a 'muscle' crusier (I just coined a new phrase) as a second bike or a bike for long hauls. Riding all day non stop in a sport bike is definitely *not* comfortable.
  14. Yeah..it's powder coat. It's an expensive color, the guy doesn't even advertise cause it's too damn expensive. When the sun hits it, it changes colors all over the place. At night, it just looks like gloss black until a headlight or some other light source hits it. I wanted something unique. You can get it too..if you have the money or end up doing $2500 in damage to your bike! LOL. Whoops I need to stop..never know where the insurance company is lurking.
  15. Oh..your bike is stock? Hmm...didn't look stock in Columbus.
  16. if you had paid attention to R1's original comment and to my response, you would have seen what it was based on.
  17. You guys kill me. This forum is full of some of the worst penis envy having peeps I've ever seen. First of all, the response was directed to R1. he was ribbing me, I ribbved him back. We weren't getting into an in depth technical analysis of rider ability. Additionally, the cycle DOES matter. This liter bike race is one big game. If Kaw comes out with a bike doing 165 for two years, you better believe Suzuki is gonna try and trump that on their next cycle. To say it doesn't matter is just plain ignorant. Do i like it? No. is it the truth? Well, the mags/rags are all on it...and the manufacturers are feeding the frenzy. If it didn't matter, they wouldn't advertise such things as RWHP. Of COURSE RWHP doesn't make a bike. Just like having god awful turn signals like the 08 ZX10 makes it a BAD bike. It might make it ugly..but it doesn't mean it's not a good track or street bike. Would I buy it? Hell no. But someone else might and will. My response to R1 was based on what he perceived he saw on a dyno. Can you measure rider ability on a dyno? last time I checked, um no. So when you are talking about taking this and that to the track...that means absolutely nothing as it pertains to my post. I used HP as a basis for my post..assuming all other factors are the same (yes, i know torgue plays a factor as well). This is what R1 and myself have to base our 'discussion' on. It wasn't about Kaw this or Suzuki that or Honda this. Man, I start to pay more attention to this forum and the more I do, the more I shake my head.
  18. 2006 ZX-10R Full Muzzy M10 Exhuast, PC III, TRE, ZX14 calipers and master cylinder (going in this weekend), custom rim powder coating, Puig double bubble.
  19. At first I thought Roy Ayers, the jazz legend, sent you some vinyl. LOL
  20. Agreed. nothing wrong with some good natured jokes. It's when it turns to attacks that cause problems.
  21. To be honest..most bikes look god awful without a cowl. Damn, I don't think I've ever seen a 14 with a cowl. Got a pic?
  22. That's the problem...the sportbikes are in the back...you can't see them from the road.
