  1. Holding off on making my reservation until i can at least get a peak at the weather forecast. Not wanting to wad up the bike since the 12/13 should finish my PN! /prays! If I go, I'll be reserving a garage with a friend, but would have room for another person or two if anyones interested.
  2. Shrug, guess I don't see any issue here. Thats like confronting your UPS/Fedex person with a gun at the door. Expect the cops to come afterwards, and when you point a gun at them, that outcomes never going to end well.
  3. Wish I could go and take someone with me, but going to Summit Point that weekend
  4. Yeah, he was flying around and making passes that boggled my mind on how he was doing it. Anytime I saw that red gsxr coming around I just gtfo his way and let him by lol. He did stuff me once in 10 and I had to take pit road to avoid the dirt.
  5. I think it was someone else also. I was following baker for a tow on a few sessions and he blew his tranny up and was using Jigs bike. I think someone mentioned the guys name as Skidder or something with the #77 or 71 on the back of it.
  6. I'm waiting for my photos from jig, but they said it would probably be at least a week. Heres a short video from A group. http://videos.streetfire.net/video/gingerman-racewaystt_2012211.htm The guy on the red GSXR was insanely fast....I think he was also an instructor?
  7. I was on the mainly Black with white tank CBR600rr with yellow plates #305. I uploaded the old pic/bodywork into my avatar. The track was difficult to learn at first, but after a few sessions with a coach to tow me around the lines over and over and it made sense finally.
  8. Yeah, the track was interesting to learn for sure. And the sealer bumps you definitely had to know where not to cross them. I about tucked it in two once and have a few rear spin ups out of three. Started the day at high 1:40s and ended up with a best time of 135.8 about 3 sessions from the end for a new track. Baker was a heck of a tow coach till his tranny blew up Just got worn out from the LED at Grattan Friday, WERA 20 lap solo race Saturday and Gingerman Sunday. Still a good time with Nick and I making it back to my place about 12:30ish.
  9. Me and Nick are staying at the Ramada, it was the cheapest for the area and only 10-15min away.
  10. Well, now that the criminal case is done. The civil case will continue, but you can only get so much blood from a dead horse. Complete BS if you ask me. No way is that taking a life, regardless of how is justifiable by that minimal sentence.
  11. Good thinking ahead! The weather has now zeroed out for rain with highs in the 60s-70s for Sunday. Just need to get some zip ties and misc stuff and Nick and I are off Thursday for a fun filled weekend! Had the new tail decaled by Chris Kruzel from the WERA board. Kudos to Nate for the referance! Turned out well imho! http://www.drippinwet.com/custom/cbr600tail2.jpg http://www.drippinwet.com/custom/cbr600tail3.jpg
  12. Yeah, it was 60-80% last night for Fri-Sun. Now its 40/10/10% so they never really know until about the day or two before.
  13. Motorcycle Requirements 6) Advanced and Intermediate group riders must use water, water wetter or a non-ethyl glycol based anti-freeze/coolant. Approved Poly Glycol brands are: Evans, 7th Gear, Liquid Performance, and Engine Ice. Automotive ethyl glycol based coolants are not allowed. Regular coolant is allowed for Novice, but if you use Engine Ice....I don't believe you have to mix it with water, ust pour it in. I did this on a few bikes now, and all I did was just drain the regular coolant out and a quick flush with distilled water($1.75? at any grocery) and then filled it up with Engine Ice and did the air bleed process.
  14. There's a list at the end of the main thread. http://www.ohio-riders.com/showthread.php?t=47166
  15. Next time for me is June 7/8 ish.
  16. How did you get this credit? My friend went both days and he hasn't said anything to me about it.
  17. If you signup for both days (Two-Day Event) then its a cheaper rate. There is also a Ohio Rider Discount of $10.
  18. +2 ^ let me know if you want to share a garage or anything. I'll probably get one for the weekend.
  19. Wow, those people don't know how to drive. That car for Mcowned when it decided to go under the semi!
  20. Monte, Will there any trackside tire service at Gratton or Gingerman? Going to guess I'll need to switch out tires sometime that weekend. I'll be bringing the sets I got earlier in the year from STT.
  21. Just for note, it wasn't me! I was a visitor on Sat/Sun due to injury. But I'll be gtg by May for Gratton & Gingerman!
  22. I know Nick was thinking of doing that exact thing Nate. I was also considering it and trying a solo on Saturday with WERA for a PN weekend. Then Gingerman on Sunday since I have already paid for it. Just transportation would be the big thing as I'll also be taking Harb's bike with me also. As for places to stay, hotels are always cheap and we could work something out.
  23. Ever since I started it was a requirements for all classes. I saw a Novice guy come up for the first time on Saturday and they had him silicone those. Takes 30 seconds to do and is a good piece of mind. Personally, I like to safety wire it all and use a clamp around the filter. Even on the street bike.
