Actually you can change the gearing in the final drive of a shaft drive bike.

That is nasty, I love my shaft drive, just change the oil in the final drive every 60k or so and ride the crap out of it!

If it is just a vaccume leak you may be able take a screw driver and tighten a screw for free.

If it is not a leak around the boots then it is very possibly one of the diphrams in the top of one of the carbs could be torn.

Since the idle does come back down that is why I say it is a vaccum leak.

Welcome I currently have 48000 miles on the bike and should have well over 55 before the end of the riding season.

It sounds like you have a vaccume leak. While the bike is running spray some starter fluid around the boots where the carbs mount to the engine. If there is a leak you will hear a change in the idle.

I must be to old to understand the appeal for doing that to any car. Huge wheels on a car just looks stupid.

It is a great program, I had never really worked out that much and decided that I was tired of being fat and out of shape. I started the program in early april at 210 and now am 183, if I have followed the diet part I am sure I would be at my target of 175 by now.

Another P90X person here I have dropped from 210-185 and want to go down to 175.

I love 78 ever year a group of us camp at Burr Oak State park for a weekend and try to hit all the good roads in southeastern OH, as well as WV. -

As I was riding into work at approx 6:10 on 71 north about a mile before 670 on the southbound side there was a motorcycle accident. I could not tell if it was more than one bike in the accident or not. It did not look good for the rider from what I could tell.

In my opinion if it is to hot to wear gear it is to hot to ride. If you want to just get sun then park the bike and wash it or somthing. Again only my opinion.

I ride a cruiserish bike and never get on the bike without my helmet, jacket, gloves, riding pants and boots. Why would it make a difference of what kind of bike you are riding as to what gear you wear?
