I don't think he was rich. I heard broke, actually. I believe he's twice divorced, and what was the last thing you saw him in? I believe he went back to television because he needed the work. That show didn't last a season. It's no more or less tragic either way. Depression is serious business.

Not to get too off topic, but the McDonald's coffee lady is not a typical legal scenario. I expect Kevin ward's family to sue, and I expect Tony Stewart to settle, rather than have this fiasco drag on for months or longer. That doesn't mean he necessarily did anything wrong. You can argue anything either way, but the term "contributory negligence" is echoing in my head. Basically the theory is that being super dumb makes other parties less culpable. Like if I run across a highway, my wife can sue whoever hits me, but she shouldn't win when I'm the moron.

I met a guy at Grattan who had a suit that was older than that. He'd had hard armor sewn in, and loved the thing. I did think it was kind of funny, but then again, at that point I was wearing my blue/black fieldsheer leathers with some sort of white flame-like design stitched across the back in an asymmetrical pattern. Mine was early 90's awesome. His was early 80's awesome. I'd rock that suit for $80.

the katana's rear brake line makes using a rear-stand mildly irritating, but on every other bike I've owned, it was easier than a center stand, and didn't need to be carried around with the bike. They are convenient if you don't own a rear stand, but I wouldn't say better. /$.02

spend $50 on a crappy rear stand and just get rid of the center stand. Mine makes noise every time I hit a decent sized bump, and it's hard to use anyway. The only thing I kind of like about it is that it makes the bike more stable when my neighbor's kids want to sit on it and make vroomy noises...

List it for $2000 "negotiable." Hell, even $2200 if you want. i prefer to list things as "negotiable" so people know you're not bent on the asking price, but it sounds less desperate than OBO.

All this talk about "real" Harley riders... I know there are a lot of 50 yr old boys who buy them as garage ornament dick-extensions, but there are still quite a few HD owners who ride the shit out of them as well. My old neighbor rode his Harley to sturgis a bunch of times. He always told me that even the "pirates" would slap me on the back and shake my hand if I'd ridden the EX500 out there.

I love the 250 cruisers from the various manufacturers. You're a couple months late, but this thing will sell quickly in April/May if you can hang onto it that long.

I don't know if my head qualifies as long oval or not, but I'm likely going to find out if the EXO-410 fits as well as the 400 fit me.
