I can't believe that The Iron Sheik and Jake "The snake" Roberts outlived Randy Savage. Coke does your body good, in some cases...

I bet that rider was pretty stinky, once he got home.

Not a noble way to exit this world. Get help and DO NOT do this to your family and friends' because you can never take it back.

Atwood is about it for me. If it was warmer I'd head down south but I'll have to wait just a little longer.

The sub-par acting by the majority of the Asian cast as well as the ending made me give it 3-stars out of 4. When I went to see it when it was first released, I felt like I was in a nursing home, sitting in the audience. Old folks smell funny.

Religion does NOT bring out the better angels of our nature. It divides rather than unites as well as make war against intellectualism from the very start. Thou shalt not know and if you do know, no more paradise for you. The universe makes more sense when you realize that there is no god behind the curtain.

Humans are FAR more deadly than any snake that I have run into. Give a homo sapien a car and a cell-phone and that combo is more dangerous than the occasional black ratsnake encounter that you might have in Ohio. Props for almost shitting your pants over a harmless, beneficial reptile.

I would have been making alot more noise if I shot myself with a .40S&W than he did.

Self-defense and what you are likely to find at the local dojo are more often than not two different entities. There are guys that have never been in a real fight who teach people how to survive a real fight, which makes no sense. Check out Christophe Clugston on Facebook or Youtube for a nice education in self-defense technology.

My first gun was a Rossi 461, which is a .357 snub-nose revolver. It did alright but I was using 125gr .357 ammo constantly as opposed to the .38 rounds that are easier on the gun, while at the range. The cylinder fell out eventually yet it was an easy fix, but I traded it in for a Ruger GP-100, a better-made pistol with a great track record. My caliber of choice is 9mm since it's easy on the wallet and will take care of any situation you might find yourself in. Get as much training as you can.

Which god might we be calling upon to protect us? I heard some pretty good things about Zeus from a mythology class I had back in high school.

The man is a gifted writer and has been throught a Hell of a lot yet still has his sanity. Ride on Neil...

My buddy was doing 130mph in his RX8 and passed three state troopers. The first two didn't even bother pulling out of the median and the third started to creep out and then changed his mind. Sometimes the hunters want easy prey so they would rather pull over a minivan doing 15 over the limit rather than a vehicle that might give them some trouble. I have gotten two tickets and both times I could have dipped and that would have been that. There was no traffic and I was busted for going no more than 17 over the limit. It's a pain in the ass any way you look at it and BS when you're not really doing anything to hurt anyone else. I would like to see how far a cop is willing to go to catch up to a 155hp motorcycle just because they were speeding. Two cruisers would not make any difference if you would have ran and would have made it even more dangerous since now there would be three vehicles on the road hitting triple digits instead of just one motorcycle. All just because of speed. If you own a supersport and spend more time on the streets than on a track, you will end up speeding unless you like taking corners like a Harley. It's just the nature of riding sportbikes. What you do when you encounter an enforcer of our ridiculous speeding laws is your own business but know the risks and act accordingly. Everyone says to just pull over and take it but when you own a liter-bike, that's almost an unnatural reaction. Yes, I sometimes wish I would have just cracked open the throttle when I got those tickets. Was pulling over safer? Of course. Will I continue to speed? Yes indeed but more cautiously...

Well, if you own a Harley and you take it in for repairs for the tenth time in a month, you get a discount if you follow the "Don't wave at Jap bikes" rule. You didn't know this?

Well, Atwood is still clean as well as Rt.44, which I take on my way there. Too bad about 164 but that just means that we need to head further south for the good stuff. I watched a neighbor's Hayabusa fall apart today while he was hauling ass and he even lost his helmet visor. First his brake light assembly disappeared and then some plastic flew off his bike later on down the road. He went home...

I'm a fan of the Glock30 myself but these days I tend to favor the 9mm round. A good defensive round will get the job done and it's cheaper to practice with...

Hey Grego, I resent that!

Judging by the fine architecture, I would think there would be at least a $10 cover charge just to walk through the door. Very sophisticated indeed. People go to both strip clubs and churches to experience an illusion. On one hand, people think that the strippers like them, and on the other hand, that there is a god. In both cases money is exchanged...

There is nothing wrong with the 9mm since it's been around for over 100 years and still going strong. I would not want to be hit with a 9mm JHP traveling at 1300fps, plus more often than not, a hostile situation might end once the gun is displayed, making the caliber a moot point. Still, I would not carry anything smaller than a .38 on the streets. My newest purchase is the PX4 Storm sub, a reliable weapon as well as being good eye-candy. Shoot them all and then decide...

My very first motorcycle was a Honda Shadow VLX, a nice little cruiser for just starting out, until I got on an old CBR F2. That was it...

That's too bad since the last time I was on that part of 800, I was pretty impressed with the sweepers. Thanks for the heads up because I was thinking of going down that way the next time I have a decent Saturday. 255 and 260 are in that area so I guess I'll just stick to those...

"If you're not prepared to do 70mph in the straights, this might not be the ride for you." Translation: Prepare to pass cagers doing 90mph, in the least and also be willing to open the throttle on blind hills and turns.

Well, there is this concept known as stockpiling ammunition so I'm not too worried about finding any ammunition for any of my firearms. I'm not too worried about society collapsing anytime soon either. The recession is over:p

I just bought a Beretta PX4 sub-compact in 9mm. Great eye candy and reliable as the day is long. You can never have too much ammunition and these days semi-auto's are as reliable as revolvers. Try the glock 33, otherwise known as the "pocket-rocket". It will conceal fairly well and you have a very accurate round, the .357sig.

Yesterday's ride was an interesting experience, to say the least. My right arm is still tingling from yesterday and my biceps are sore from a workout last week otherwise I would have been in that area today. Perhaps next week if I get out of work early enough I'll do Atwood a few times back and forth.
