I was honestly just a little put off by the fact that there is a church out there not only picketing the strip club but also engaging people about church at the strip club and collecting people's licence plate numbers and keeping record of the patrons. That's a ton of miles on a motorcycle. only bike I've seen with more on it....... (you might want to sit down for this) was a mid 90s Ducati Monster M900 I think it was a carbureted one. It had 184k on the clock. He said after about 30k the valves and everything seemed to have settled in because they only needed adjusted about every 40k after that. He said he checked them every 20k. He mostly lived in California so he could ride year round. Bike was beat to shit, looked like it had never been washed but it completely defied the notion of Ducati's being unreliable. Guess those old air cooled motors were pretty tough. My air cooled is probably as good except for all the electronics. Anyway, he camped with us at Mid-OH This year. That is really freaking funny. However, no doubt, the older one is nothing I'd pay to see. the younger one was so so but not stripper quality. Having said all that, strippers picketing a church. Now that is funny.

Start with help desk. I don't know you guys experience level but with no experience teleperformance, formerly Calltech will hire anyone. It sucks there and doesn't pay much, but you put some time in there and you can go somewhere else with experience on your resume.

It's not the frame I'm worried about. It's the 1 bolt holding the engine and rear end to the frame and front end. It's scary simple.

Haha, I saw King Kenny at that Indy Mile last year. That bike was nuts, gave me chills just hearing it.

So I got an exhaust made for a Tomos moped. Expansion Chamber. I had to heat up and bend the header pipe but I got it to fit. The scooter now sounds like an angry 2 stroke dirt bike and the top speed went from 30 to somewhere around 36 or 38. My friend Dave took some pictures of me and Todd on track on our Yamahoppers the next Day. Who knew I would get some track time this weekend as well. If you've never done 2 laps at Mid-OH at wide open throttle and never touched the brakes you don't know what you are missing. Todd says he timed a lap at 2:45. Todd is on the blue bike I'm on the red. Don't let the waving to the crowds fool you. I was still wide open there.

The hyper photographs better than the ZX10 for sure. Just sayin.... I had fun shooting it cause it looks so much cooler than the bikes with fairings, even if they probably were blowing your doors off on the back straight. That and you really looked like you were having fun out there. Some of the people seemed like they were taking it extra easy. I guess crashing on a promotional track day session would be bad though.

I have to say, it's just cool being out there with the racers at a track day and seeing their lines and how ridiculously slow they make me look, then seeing them out on the track being mediocre but also seeing them do some of the same stuff you saw really close up out there. It certainly does inspire you to get faster and work at it because you can see that you are not at the top.

I agree. I feel that I get a lot more enjoyment out of watching races on tracks that I've ridden. You have a much better idea of how skilled the racers are when you see them doing things you can't even imagine being able to do.

Some of my friends were at a track day Thursday and got an opportunity to ride at lunch time before the races Saturday. I got some pictures in the esses.

If you are working in IT I find them pretty useful. I have worked for Tek Systems (they were pretty good), and interviewed with Robert Half, and also had a job where I was contracted to ATT then contracted to OSUMC. Either way, I find them to be a great resource as lots of big enterprises don't direct hire often unless they know you. So these firms are a good way to get your foot in the door. How it works. Easy, they hire you, you are their employee and you are a contractor at the place where you work. You get paid by the temp agency and yes they take some sort of cut but that is transparent to you. Usually it will be hourly with no benefits but they generally offer W2 employment as well but at a lower hourly or salary rate. Most of the stuff I have seen are 3 6 or 12 month contracts but tend to promise that they will be renewed. In my situations I was hired on full time with the actual employer after 6 months. I'm a CCNA network tech if that makes any difference. On the flip side, the company that you are actually working for gets a few benefits. Although they are paying a premium (your salary, plus commission) they don't have to pay benefits and if you don't work out they just don't renew your contract. It's great for augmenting employment for a big project where you might not be able to keep people long term or great for a try before you buy type scenario as well. But again, I have found the best thing for you is that it gives you a way to get your foot in the door and make contacts. Even if you don't keep the job you now know these people and they know you and what kind of worker you are. This is good for you, unless you are a shitty worker. at OSUMC we have used a few staffing firms, quick solutions, tek systems, insight, and I know people that work at Sarcom. We also have several cabling contractors, Tri-M and a few others I can't think of any others off the top of my head. There is this one in dublin that one of our contractors works for and I have interviewed with and I just can't think of it at the moment. starts with an A I think. There are a ton of small one's out there anyway. The thing I always enjoyed about the staffing firm is that it's a symbiotic relationship. You want a job and they want you to have a job and if they find you an interview and you get the job then both you and the temp agency wins. So they talk you up, find contacts and find interviews for you. So from a looking for employment standpoint they have treated me well and that is my 2 cents. Ask CMH_sprint. He used to be one of my contractor bosses when I was contracted to a contractor to an employee. It was fun, he'd take me out to lunch once a month and ask me how things are going.

Mike (Fastduc) has a set of offset triples that Jason is selling for his 1098 as well. Pretty high quality and neat stuff. The stuff Jason writes up on that shit is very interesting to read, unfortunately I can't find it anymore. however it seems he has fallen off the face of the earth. The first link you get if you google him is a wera thread bashing him. Kind of sad. I liked the guy. I hope whatever he is going through get's resolved. I've heard over and over again on here that Rubin is good. I have had Matt Carr over at Ducati Indy set stuff up on both of my current bikes and he is good and a great guy in general. A guy he used to work with Jason Etter (department of Suspension) is also very knowledgeable. Not sure where he is though. Used to see him at the Mid-OH STT events and he clearly knew his shit. I have also heard great things about mphohio for not only suspension but geometry and straightening. They have one of those mega-M.A.X measurement systems that can do some things a lot of the other guys can't since they can literally measure and adjust the entire bike based on the way your exact frame is. I had a lengthy discussion with the guy over there once and he was very helpful and interesting to talk to. Some guys swear by his system and systems like it. I haven't heard of this Brian guy but if he really tears the forks and shocks down and rebuilds them for $75 then that is a hell of a deal as long as he is competent. I honestly don't doubt he is. I don't buy into suspension being voodoo magic. You need to start with good forks and shocks sprung for your weight then get everything else adjusted. Once you have done that you are way ahead of the game. The really competant guys are gonna get you that last bit though I do believe that There is also JD Horde of Horde power up north. I don't think he's a slouch and is a little closer to Columbus. Having said all that. For Sag, geometry and just general discussion about how to set your bike up STTBrian is actually really cool in person and helped me out some with my gixxer. You can usually find him at Mid-OH or elsewhere if KTM is around. His truck and trailer are hard to miss as well once you see it.

It's a work in progress. I may or may not agree, time will tell.
