http://tomtomforums.com/ I used to read that forum when I first got my TomTom; they have a decent tweak forum that has a bunch of info about tweaking/modding/adding apps to your TomTom. Might be worth a try.

There are two signs just outside of Peninsula that say "Radar speed limit enforced". My brain hurts every time I read those signs. Is the radar enforced by the speed limit? No. Fix your grammar, Peninsula.

Thanks for the suggestions bambam I'll look over those in google earth and add em to my route. The other parts of this route are easily my favorite route to ride and I'm out there all the time, but the final bit that takes 60 to Zanesville and then 70 west home to Columbus always made it feel like it sort of fizzled out. This should make it more interesting

I have a route I've been riding for a while now that I really enjoy, but I really want to tweak it a bit to make it more fun. As it stands now, it starts in Columbus, takes 33 to Logan, then heads south on 93 and eventually snakes back up to McConnelsville. It's pretty fun and challenging enough for me, but from McConnelsville on it's pretty boring. Can anyone suggest a better route from Mcconnelsville to Zanesville than just hopping on 60 and following it the whole way? It's a nice scenic road for sure, but it's really boring relative to the rest of the route. I don't know the area well enough to look at Google Earth and pick a road and try it, chances are it'll be a gravel farm road. I checked the ever-popular motorcycleroads.us, but there wasn't anything useful for this situation there. Ideas? Thanks!

Looks good! I'm jealous, I wish I had higher footpegs on my bike...as it stands now I drag toe before anything else and I can't get that last little bit of chicken strip to wear down Though my Sidi toe sliders are certainly doing a good job

Looks great, I might try that soon considering how both of my mirrors are scuffed up thanks to my own dumb self and some freshmen vandals :\ What kind of wax did you use, just normal car wax? I've got some Meguiar's Gold Class wax, would that work? Or are we talking paraffin or something.

Just from picking through my Newegg order history, it's an AMD Athlon 64 x2 3800+ (2.0ghz) on a Biostar TForce4U nForce 4 Ultra motherboard, with a Sapphire Radeon X1800XT 256meg. I forget how much memory it has, but it's at least 2 gigs...maybe 2.5 or 3. It used to be my main rig until last September, and I really only upgraded because I fell ass-backwards into several grand so I used some of it to build an uber-rig
It'll do day-to-day computing like a champ, and it runs some older games like Half-Life 2 and WoW very well, and it'll do newer stuff with reasonable graphics settings. The only downside is that the graphics card was starting to show its age by the time I upgraded; I was getting artifacting in WoW and some other games, but not enough to make it unplayable. Dunno if this is the type of computer you're looking for or not. Lemmie know if you're interested and I can get complete specs and talk business.

...my girlfriend rented an apartment about a block away from there just a few weeks ago. We'd often walk by the chrome, LED, and stretched swingarm fueled circlejerk that is the south campus Taco Bell/7-11 bike hangout, and I knew nothing good would come of that scene. I hope the girl is ok

A while ago I was hanging out with my girlfriend and some friends. Someone said a great "that's what she said" (that I can't remember) right as my girlfriend was having a drink of her beer, and she choked a little bit because it made her laugh. As soon as she got herself under control, she goes "Wait till I'm done swallowing first!" (meaning, before making her laugh). To which I reply ...that's what SHE said.

Quaker Steak and Lube at Polaris on a Wednesday night If she has a good time, she's a keeper. If she whines, it's an easy way to tell that it's not meant to be and you still get to have a nice evening of wandering around looking at a bunch of sweet bikes. Win-win. *edit* Oh...you said Saturday.

I got to celebrate the fact that I don't have kids yet ...though, if reproducing means I get sweet stuff like a pair of Vertigo's for reasons other than my birthday and Christmas, it might be worth looking into.

What's the minimum age for renting out there, and does it include any gear? I'm flying out to see my girlfriend in San Diego in a few weeks, and it's going to be torture not being able to ride out there

I was all excited to finally go on a southeastern ride without taking 33 This is actually a pretty good idea I think...78 is a lot of fun but not overly challenging; it could be a decent chance for anyone who isn't sure which group they want to ride in to get a feel for the pace of the fast group before we get to the more challenging roads.
