  1. I'm going, but we're leaving a bit earlier. A buddy and I are leaving from Lebanon at around 5:00 to be in Columbus for breakfast at Cracker Barrel at 7:00.
  2. Looks good, I can't wait to see the finished product!
  3. :nono: Really disappointed in SGK... I've always considered them one of the good guys, but to stifle other charities and fundraisers for using the term "for the cure" is just wrong. I get that they want to make sure that their "brand" is intact, but when did "the cure" start only applying to breast cancer?

    Sad, sad story!!

Had me going all the way to the end. That story has roots in real life though. I saw on the news recently there was a kid picked up running down the street from his mother who was then arrested for beating him with an extension cord. I hadn't heard much past that though.

    "Fringe"

I'm a big Fringe fan, too! I haven't watched this week's episode yet, but I've got it recorded, just haven't gotten to it yet. I do like the continuing story line through this season, but I will admit that I think I liked it better as the "B" story line that tied the whole season together with the "A" story line being finished at the end of the episode. This season has been great though, and Fox would be very foolish to cancel it. It really is the only show that brings me to Fox Network programming.
  6. I suspect it's a rigid frame on the other side... I dig it!
  7. I want it! I want it! I want it! Pssst! It's almost my birthday... I can has present?
  8. I'll have 6000 by next week. I don't winterize either, and have been known to ride down to about 19*F in the morning if the afternoon looks like it'll be decent. I should be able to hit about 7500 by the end of the year if I don't sell it.
  9. That is very cool Reimbrandt. I'm thinking something in a "HEY LOOK AT ME!" Orange.
  10. It's a cover for the military's top secret genetics experiment...
  11. Probably passes everything but the gas station too.
  12. It could very well be a '91. This body style carried on from 1973-1991 for the Fullsize Blazer, Suburban, and 4 door cab pickups. You guys beat me to it while I was checking...
  13. I've ridden all kinds of bikes, and I think I have to say that at this point in my life, I don't see myself on anything other than a V Twin something or another. I'd love to have a Street Glide or a Road Glide, but if I had to jump straight to "The Bike", I believe it'd be a Ultra Glide Ultra Limited. This one
  14. I was working at a dealership body shop in Farifax, VA at the time. One of the salesmen ran into the body shop office and said a plane had hit the WTC, and they had the TV in the customer lounge tuned to coverage. The dealership is located on Rt 50, only about 10 miles from the Pentagon, and I can remember clearly the fire trucks, ambulances, and other emergency vehicles rushing from neighboring citys, towns, and counties rushing toward DC for hours following the attack on the Pentagon. I was 20 years old at the time, my son was in a day care center in Ashburn, VA and my wife was out of town on a work retreat. My mom was working for EDS in Herndon, VA which leased space out to the FAA. I was able to get a hold of my mom, and arranged for her to pick up my son from day care, and take him back to her house. I left work and headed home as fast as I could, and it ended up taking nearly 3 hours to cover the 20 some miles to my mom's house. I was listening to Don & Mike on WJFK while all of this was going on, and a caller got through to them and said something about a bomb at the Leesburg, VA Air Route Traffic Control Center which was less than 3 miles from my parent's house. Fortunately, nothing ever came of that... About a week later, I had a customer come in to the body shop for an estimate on his car, and he identified himself as a Major in the Army. I asked if he knew anyone at the Pentagon that day, and he told me not only was he there, he had been one of the people that pulled people out of the building. He told me this as he was rolling up his sleeves to reveal the cuts, scrapes, and bruises on his forearms. I will NEVER forget.
  15. Not mine, but thought I'd share... http://cincinnati.craigslist.org/mcy/1943906932.html 2001 Aprilia SL1000 Falco - $2950 (Seymour, In.) Date: 2010-09-08, 8:49PM EDT Reply to: sale-tfkpg-1943906932@craigslist.org [Errors when replying to ads?] IMPORTANT NOTE: Due to receiving so many bogus e-mails from each posting, you must include your phone number if you want me to return your e-mail. This is a very nice, low mileage 2001 Aprilia SL1000 Falco. It runs great and only has 10500 miles. It did suffer a minor incident that cracked the fairing but it was repaired and looks fine. Due to the minor damage, it does have a salvage title. This is your chance to own one of the fantastic bike at a fraction of retail price. In Indiana, it is very easy to convert a salvage title to rebuilt and get the bike licensed. I have done it many times and it only takes about 15 extra minutes to do. I would be happy to assist you. Again, you will not be disappointed with this bike. This bike retails for over $4500 so if you would like to save a bundle, come take a look. Seymour is about an hour south of Indy. I can deliver for a reasonable fee if you need. This is a very sharp bike, you won't be disappointed. Looks cool, I like it!
  17. Glad you're doing okay. Did you not know that you broke your elbow 3 years ago?
  18. Ummm... How? Never seen a sport bike in a station wagon before. Pics? I'd be all over that truck if I had the cash right now.
