  1. So many places I could go with this.... I'm a father of three daughters (3,13,17) and two sons, all are mixed. (I'm black, their mom's white) The complexion of the new dolls more closely resembles my daughters as does the hair texture. That being said.... Be a fucking adult parent. If you don't like what a toy represents, then don't spend your money on it! I never wanted my kids to think of guns as toys, so guess what, I never purchased or allowed them to play with toy guns until they spent time with me at the range and had a good understanding of what a gun is and does. That's called being a parent. Reinforces a negative image? Fuck, most of us have family that represents more of a negative image than anything you can purchase or see of TV. So, to my black (don't you fucking dare call me African American) friends out there that are having issues with this doll, spend more time instilling good moral values and self worth in your kids, and less time trying to be hood!
  2. I have no idea what this chick was doing on the streets of Hollywood at 1am, but it made for a funny ass picture!

Nor Cal & So Cal meet and greet

4 day weekend last week of September. Some of us Nor Cal Vrod owners rode down to do the Hollywood/Beverly Hills/Malibu Canyons thing
  4. Hey, I'm suffering just as much as you! This morning temps were barely 60° for my 7am commute to San Jose. Right now it's barely 90°. Do you have any idea how much of a pain in the ass it is to pack a cool/cold riding jacket and hot riding jacket for a commute!?
  5. my winter project this year is to ride another 10k miles.
  6. As a proud father, I have to say that suggestion is just idiotic and stupid! You must use top load saddle bags, not side load. Side load will allow the child to easily escape, I mean fall out when opened.
  7. I just went through a similar problem w/the same model laptop. The power cord transformer was the culprit. Was allowing enough current to run the laptop, but not enough to run the laptop and charge the battery at the same time.
  8. I recently upgraded my headlight to HID. The set up from DDM Tuning is completely plug n play. When I did a night ride through the Hollywood Hills w/couple of folks, I stayed to the rear of the group and my headlight lit their way. Ballasts even come w/no hassle life time warranty. Never seen a brighter headlight. at $45/each, not cheap but totally worth it.
