    2007 Yamah YZF R6

here's copy of his latest email.. "Right now I'm in military base NTTC Lackland AFB TX, preparing to be deployed to Iraq The bike is already at the shipping company, ready to go just I need a shipping address where to send it .About the delivery will be handled by the shipping company. I had another customer in Houston, TX who said he will buy and after I made all shipping arrangements and paid for it, he changed his mind..... if I want to retract it I will have to pay $ 800insurance tax... this is why I need to ship it. Look... I need to sell it ASAP, and since the transport is already paid for, you can have it for $3700 if you decide to buy now. " Claiming to be in Military, but won't give the base or branch, his "English" is suspect in previous emails..

    Good oil...

if you're gonna treat your bike like a high performance machine, you should at the very least use a motorcycle oil, not a frick'n car oil!! I personally stick with Amsoil, but Mobil 1 mortorcycle/vtwin oil is a good oil as well.
  4. commercial trailers have an odometer installed in one or two wheel hubs to track mileage. Question was asked prior to pix being posted. No such thing as an ex Marine. Once a Marine always a Marine.
  5. AOW= my initials, Any Other Weapon, and my bike is a VRSC-AW, and I'm just too damn lazy to come up with something clever.

    2007 Yamah YZF R6

I'm officially calling this a scam.. 1)Dude is "living" in Oregon, but has NJ tags, (not big concern as I've lived in OH for 2yrs and have PA tags on all vehicles) 2) keeps asking for my contact info so ebay motors can contact me and arrange payment and shipment 3)doesn't understand why one would want to check out a bike before dropping cash on it 4) refuses to let me or one of my local buddies check out bike to be sure it actually runs and has an engine... I'm going to keep pushing him to see how far he will go with this.
  8. that beyond sucks! I would plug, patch, and replace the tire. Keep this one as a spare, but wouldn't ride on it w/intent of aggressive cornering.
  9. I hope they shot the fark'n track marshals after the race!
  10. jack makes it easier to clean, dry, and install after market pipes. In that pix I had just installed the new taillight.
  11. It's a nice look and see kinda place, but if you want to touch anything forget about it. It is cool that they offered covered bike parking though. I would go again.

    Howard the Duck

I just wished the movie stayed true to the comic book. The comic was great.
  13. I'm in. This will be my last for awhile. I'm heading to CA on Friday to house shop.

  19. That's passenger error, not pilot error. My helmet was new for 2 whole weeks before the wife was nice enough to decorate the backside w/divots...
  20. year, model, hours/miles, tyre condition...... This may be the leverage I need to justify driving to CA instead of flying w/the family.
  21. MSF course is at least 10x better than Harley's. In PA, the course if free as long as you have your permit or MC endorsement. I did the entry course twice and the advanced course once. You should learn something every time you throw your leg over the saddle, if not, do us all a favor and buy a Schwinn
  22. I can't stand folks that think all riding related issues will be magically resolved by doing a track day or wearing their idea of appropriate gear.
