RidersDiscount.com is the go-to name in rider support for the powersports community. Our aim is simple: provide outstanding service that is backed by the knowledge that comes from having “been there” ourselves! Our team is made up of riders of all skill levels, from street riders to championship-winning experts and everything in between. On our days off we’re out playing in the dirt or at the track testing and evaluating the same equipment we sell. From this, we are able to draw on our experiences to help our client base make purchasing decisions on everything from parts to gear and apparel.

We need individuals that share our enthusiasm for everything motorcycles with the following qualifications:

A thorough understanding of all forums of motorcycles, riders and their needs
Attention to detail - a must for exceptional service and customer retention
Clear communication ability in verbal and written forms
MS Office Proficiency
Enthusiasm for everything two wheels

Pay consummate to experience

In addition to our normal business hours, from time-to-time we have interesting opportunities away from the shop thanks to our own racing efforts, our collaboration with product manufacturers and other organizations that are hard to find anywhere else. We want individuals that thrive in a fast-paced retail environment assisting fellow enthusiasts’ needs in everything from ATVs to cruisers to performance motorcycle parts and accessories. Our shop is located in Western Michigan near the lakeshore within a short drive to race tracks and offroad riding venues.

This position requires individuals to work from our offices, no work-at-home applicants please.

Applications will only be accepted via email. Send those to FORUM at RIDERSDISCOUNT dot COM with RD HIRING in the subject.

If I was single and didn't have school debt, I would scratch and claw my way into this job by any means possible.

As an aside, I may be shooting a PM your way, Nathan.  I have a pet project in the back of my mind to get Motorcycle Police Officers wearing more substantial safety gear.  Wanted to run some ideas past RidersDiscount to assess the feasibility of assisting.  Don't worry, I'm not asking for free product :D

I would guess this is first and foremost a customer service job.

You can learn about parts and gear. Teaching someone to be helpful and polite is surprisingly difficult.

Funny thing... I re-read the original post and I mostly fit the qualifications, just not the overall bike knowledge, but I do have the enthusiasm. I may have to inquire about this...hmm
