GASPER TWP., Preble County — A 33-year-old Gratis man was killed in a head-on motorcycle crash Tuesday morning in Gasper Twp., southeast of Eaton in Preble County.Paul Estep was pronounced dead at the scene on Ohio 122, which was shut down after the crash shortly after 8 a.m. near the Yost Road intersection, according to the Ohio Highway Patrol.Two motorcycles were involved in the crash, but they were not riding together, according to the patrol.One motorcyclist struck the car head-on and was pronounced dead at the scene, according to the patrol.The other motorcycle was hit but the rider maintained control and was not injured.The car's driver was taken to Reid Hospital in Richmond, Ind. for treatment of injuries not considered life-threatening, according to the patrol.The crash remains under investigation. - See more at: http://www.whio.com/news/news/local/patrol-responds-motorcycle-crash-near-eaton/nfqCm/#sthash.fK2QCAAh.dpuf info on another site stated the car went left of center to avoid hitting another car waiting to turn left. So it sounds like the car driver wasn't paying attention, looked up and saw the left turning vehicle in front of him/her, figured he/she couldn't stop in time and made the decision that it was gonna hurt a lot less to cross the center line and take out two motorcyclists?
