Tonik
The fancy one with 84 different electronic suspension settings is very tempting. I may have to take one for a spin. http://www.asphaltandrubber.com/bikes/2016-yamaha-fjr1300/#more-99823
JustinNck1
They gave it a 6 speed, but made 1st gear taller, which makes me scratch my head. I'd like to have the the LED headlights and tail lights, but I'm stickin with my 14.
Tonik
Hard for me to comment on a taller first gear without knowing what the old version was like. But in general terms I like a taller first gear for city driving..making right and left turns and so on. I certainly don't see enough improvement to upgrade if you already have one. You have an awesome bike as is, the '16 is just a bit more awesome.
JustinNck1
Don't ride one, you will be sold . I was looking at a Street Glide cause I wanted something comfortable, but it was lacking in power, then I test rode the FJR, and I owned it a week later. Connie14
My brother just picked up a 2014 FJR. Which is the best forum for info on them?
PhilD'oh!
Fjrforum.com probably has the most comprehensive content, but the moderation of the site and cantankerous nature of the old-timers sometimes turn new folks off. I still call it home though.
JustinNck1
I'm on fjrforum and fjrowners and they both have their advantages. I'm not much of a fan of the moderators on fjrforum.
Gixxus Christ!
I've noticed that Yamaha owners forums are usually full of dicks. Got banned from an xj site my first week, had lots of issues with mods at an fzr site as well. I'm certain that the problem is them and not me, I'm a wonderful and insightful person and never offend anyone or say 'fuck'.
Tonik
Perhaps we need to go en-mass to the fjrforum and troll them.

Bad324
I guess there hasn't been a cross forum epic fail war so I've since changed my mind. Make it happen so entertainment can ensue for me. I'm slow at work anyhow
