ScubaCinci Posted July 13, 2016 Report Share Posted July 13, 2016 (edited) Smoke/steam form the accident, an insect near the lens, dirty or scratched lens, light anomaly lens refraction, dirty image sensor, smudge on the window of the vehicle it was taken from, photoshopped, etc, etc. Many explanations more plausible than the one they elude to in the article.
