Blitz
Hey guys, So I'm thinking the wife and I would like to do a 3 day ride and I was hoping to get some suggestions for the route. It would be nice to include some stops that aren't only motivated by the twisty roads that got us there, but twisty roads are the point of the trip. So don't leave them out in favor of the World's Biggest Corn Cob Pipe. States in mind would be WV, TN, NC, VA, and KY. I may lean on Tpoppa's WV routes but would like to get out of WV and into KY too. What do you guys think? I've never ridden multi-day from the back of the bike before, so I'm hoping to rely on you guys who do a lot of this.
JustinNck1
Seneca Rocks and Canaan Valley is a beautiful area and awesome riding. You can go see Black Water Falls or head southeast across 250 to the Blue Ridge.
Tonik
^ That was what I was going to post. Or north from there to Falling Waters a very cool Frank Llyod Wright house. Just the grounds tour is awesome. If you plan on going in get tickets in advance. Cool State prison you can visit in Moundsville as you cross the river on 250.

Some three/four lane nicely paved curves that you can almost call switchbacks. https://www.google.com/maps/@37.0696235,-82.7985127,3a,75y,256.39h,74.21t/data=!3m6!1e1!3m4!1snnhuNyMEhVVh5R8OpHw9qA!2e0!7i13312!8i6656 Edited July 7, 2017 by Ron505

You can also ride up Mt Storm and cross into Maryland, some nice B&Bs up that way. Very cool that Shannon likes going on motorcycle trips. thompsonian
Hawks Nest/New River Gorge area are pretty nice. If you can squeeze in WV99, Bolt Mountain Road, do it. It's fantastic
