MrMeanGreen
If CR is blocked at your place of employment, and they're web-filtering program is called Websense, you're in luck. After discussing the blockage of CR with several members that work at Websense-established facilities, I've taken it upon myself to correct that. Websense essentially uses a search tool and user input to decide how a site is filtered. They comprise many different catagories (spam, porn, chat, proxy, etc.). In this case, for whatever reason, CR was catagorized into "Web Chat" which is defined as something like AIM Express (web based chat client), and not a messageboard. Their "Messageboard" catagory is not blocked by default. The company with the software has to pay an additional premium for the messageboard add-in, which essentially blocks all messageboards. That being said, if you can get to a messageboard of any type from work, they probably don't use this add-in. Anyways, I submitted a request to Websense asking them to recatagorize CR from "Web Chat" to "Messageboard". They've responded, agreed, and made the appropriate change. This means for you at work who are blocked behind Websense, that CR will be availble for your work use after the next Websense database patch, which I believe are weekly. Look for CR to be accessible NLT a week from Friday if your company updates their Wensense database every week smile.gif
