Whats your WPM

I have gotten to the point where if i were to type any faster my fingers would trip over themselves and kill me. but according to the test i just took i only type at 33WPM. which i think is extremly slow. just curious how fast others type.

on average.. about 70? My personal best is like 98 though from the last time i tested in highschool, there were two kids that typed quicker.. like 115ish.. insane.

Back in college I got up to 98 WPM.

 

I'm guessing now.. on a good day/keyboard. Around 70-80.

 

The key is.. watching the screen when you type and not the keyboard .

I'm with ohio wookie - I thought I was a fairly quick, but, when tested, I was only around the 40-ish range.

I have no idea; I've never tested myself. Never took a typing class or anything like that; I just typed enough that I memorized everything and don't have to look at the keyboard. If you asked me which keys are next to eachother without looking, I wouldn't have a clue. If you asked me to type those same keys without looking, that's a piece of cake.

In high school I was typing somewhere around 70-80WPM so I'm sure I'm somewhere around that still.

I am exactly like Nitrousbird. I couldn't tell you which letters are where but my fingers can find them without looking.

 

Not sure how many WPM though. Is there something online to test it?

I was in like mid-high 90's when I took a test, and its harder when your reading I type alot faster when I don't have to read it then type it out.
