State law allowing you to break a lease??

I was told that there is a state law saying that if your company is relocating you out of town or 50 miles away, that the apartments you live in cannot charge you any kind of lease termination fees.. Does anyone know any truth into this as I really want to get out of this shithole place I am in.

i know my buddies g/f is going back to school in PGH in jan, and since its more than 60 miles away, she is able to break her lease w/ no penalties

 

Only if it is specified in the lease
