Guest VR4SHO
Not looking to buy a brand new bike, but I'm interested in a 600 that would be an upgrade to my previous bike, the Honda CBR F3...what would you guys reccommend? I'm torn between a newer R6 and 600RR. What do you think of 636's? Anyway, I'd appreciate any feedback about any of the newer 600's. I want to purchase it in the Spring. DrEvil3264
when it comes to the new 600's, there all so close in performance that it comes down to comfort and your taste in looks. You cant go wrong with any of the bikes from any of the japanese companies. Id say sit on all of them, and narrow it down to the best looking and most comfortable in your oppinion. Chad is Dead
636's are ganster. If you want the most reliable I'd go w/ the cbr f4i
JaSSon
I'm kinda partial to my 636. I also like the new triumph 600. It's either a 650 or 675 3 cylinder.
dragknee66
I rode 2 different 600RRs and I personally think they were both extrememly slow. They had no torque or power up to 9k at all. My old 2002 Kawi ZX6R felt a lot better. Hell my roomates old carb'd R6 felt stronger. Ive never rode a 636 before but I imagine that would be the better 600cc choice for the little extra power on the street. Nothing like being able to crack the gas a bit to get out of the way when a car comes in your lane
NTHER91
600 are cool but y not a
Got-Boost?
Normally I would agree with everyone else but I will go out on a limb and say that the "NEW" 06 R6 will probably rewrite the rules for 600cc bikes again this year. It has more trick parts and goodies on it from the factory than any other bike right now, even the liter bikes. If your going to stay with a 600 I would buy one of those. However you can get the NEW GSXR-750 which will probably be a tad quicker (straight line) than it. But for that kind of money, why would you not buy a 1000cc or bigger bike? If I didn't have my BUSA I would go with a 06 GSXR-1000 or 06 R1 LE. Otherwise, I would just wait and get the new rumored BUSA in 07 if it ever comes out. street pilot
If you are talking 06, go with the R6. 03-05, either 600rr or R6, comes down to rider preference/price.
Guest 95olds
hell mike was talking about selling his r1 with spray and buying a 06 r6 the power to weight was really great on that bike
supldys
well he said he didnt want a brand new bike so those 06's are helping him any If you've already had a 600, why do you want to stick with a 600? Liter bikes rock
88lx5oh
636 is the bike of choice for me. great power to weight, great handling, nice feel, goo driding position in the sport bike world, and it will rock some serious stand ups. DrEvil3264
The new R6 is deff badass but the msrp is a full $1000 more than the 05 model, id say for that much money might as well spring for a liter bike.
