The current setup is staying on the car, since my finances are a bit different with Tina gone and me having sole custody of the kids, along with the house. I still have forged parts, but the engine build and turbo kit are on the backburner for the above mentioned reasons. I forsee mid-10s this year at 130+. Nothing much above last year's best, but enough to have fun.

 

Jason, the car was fast. Now it's slower than the Firebird Jr. No transmission can do that

Shoulda got a TH400. Or manned up and got a built 4L80 and crammed that in there. Or put the car on a big diet and tossed in a glide.

A glide would have been fine for a track only car.

I don't think I would put one in a car I drive alot on the street.

 

Though I would have went w/ a 400 if it were up to me.

I wanted a TH400, but for the pricing on this package, I couldn't pass it up.

 

Before the last freshening, this tranny held up well against a built 408 LS1 with spray. I think I'm fine
