Also, WTF is a Paddock pass?

 

Something you MUST get to have the full expierence of the weekend.

 

It lets you get into the 'paddock' area. This is the area right up to the pits, where they work on ALL of the cars (including the LeMans cars in the garages right next to the pits), pull them in and out to get to the races. Like someone else said, you don't get into the pits, but that really doesn't get you shit anyways.

I wasn't sure what the paddock pass was when I went there for the first time, either. But, it was the best part of the trip. It can be crazy cause you have to watch your ass so you don't get run over by a race car on its way to the track haha. I really like how you can view the garages from above, it really lets you see what the crews are doing.

i eventually want to get on mid ohio track. i have never been there, and would love to road race.
