Trouble Maker
Dear Brent Musburger, I'm glad today went so well for you, you pole smoking limp wristed son of a bitch. Have fun getting filled up by Charlie Weiss and Brady Quinn with Tom Brady playing back up as they take their frustrations out on you. Afterwards you can proceed with slitting your wrist for sucking so much at life. Remember down the road, not across the street. Just trying to finally help you succeed in something because you haven't ever been able up until this point, including your job. XOXO, Jesse

Dr. Apex
I know this, you can't win the Heismann when you just drop balls all over the field and let the other team run that back for a TD!! Oregon and Oklahoma game was sweet to watch!! Almost forgot... O H

Nitrousbird
It's 9:25 PM and Michigan > OSU still. You are a retard. True story. Does OSU have to beat little blue AGAIN to get their point across. But you are the same guy that loves drifting, aka the ice dancing of motorsports. I'll just go ahead and assume your hard drive is full of gay porn too.
Dr. Pomade
Great post, Jesse. I despise Brent Musburger for lots of reasons, some of which you've highlighted. I went to the OSU game yesterday. We looked lethargic in the first half. Yet, even hitting on 6 of 8 cylinders is good enough for good teams at times. Fortunately, it was Cincinnati, and not, say, Iowa, that we played yesterday. (Though, as an aside, I have this developing notion that the OSU teams of late have a tendency to play to the level of intensity/importance of a game. Hence, we jack up the Notre Dame's and Texas' and Michigan's, but squeak by the Cincy's.)

Dr. please see 2002, we barely won that whole year, is it Tressel keeping control over the game or the players just happening to eek by everytime

Nate1647545505
i wasn't too impressed with our first half +1 For a #1 ranked team, we are very sloppy. That was a sweet reversal...

Jeffrey
I dont see that happening, I can see the possibility of 2, #1 vs #2 games, but not 2 OSU vs UM games, whoever wins that will be going and the loser will be at a lesser bowl. You don't lose the last game and still get a National Championship bid.
Dr. Apex
That wouldn't happen with that game being as late in the year as it is.
sciongirl
Michigan and OSU will always be a big game, no matter if one or both teams suck. Doesn't matter your record in that game. And it was a great weekend for football. OU got screwed by Oregon, I almost feel bad... almost. I was really hoping Tennessee would beat Florida but that didn't happen. And did anyone see the USC/Neb game? That USC player getting his leg twisted around? That was gross, I thought for sure his knee twisted but I think they later said it was a dislocated ankel. Yuck.. Guest kdmshrk
Im not a huge fan of college football- I understand that Columbus is OSU crazy- which is actually kind of annoying when you see people who know nothing about football or sports in general and probably have no connection to OSU even academically with GO BUCKS plastered all over their car, homes, and childrens faces. If I had to choose a team to follow this year it would probably be Michigan though. Its NFL all fall, all the time- Bengals FTW
Ramsey
Oregon needed to beat ok- big 12 way over-rated, Tenn should have won that game! The "U" finally out of the top 25! fsu sucks! buckeyes need to stop the run. I-O

This is and always will be a college football town, no matter what pro team is located here, it will always be a college football town. Therefore you dont neccessarily have to be affiliated with the school to be a fan. If i were a cinncinatti fan but had absolutly not ties with the organization at all, does that make my fan status somewhat less? no. OSU is probably one of the largest employers in the city, which means OSU as an organization has more impact (read: fans) on the city than say the bengals to cinci or the Browns to cleveland. Guest kdmshrk
The Buckeyes are like Columbus' major league team. I guess I really didnt make that connection- I just moved here from Cincinnati in February and didnt realize how stupid Columbus people get about OSU. Each their own though-

Each their own though- Umm OSU fans arent stupid they are passionate. I wouldnt expect a typical Bengals fan to understand that. Finally the Bengals are good and all the fair weather fans are back. OSU fans stand behind their team no matter if they are good or bad. Unlike the "stupid" bengals fans who become Steeler fans the min anything goes bad in Bengal land. baron_
that's easy to say...with OSU teams being as good as they are after 10 years of being horrible, any fan's patience could be tried

Duff1647545513
I'm a Browns fan and they've been pretty horrible as long as I can remember, there's just always that hope of being bad ass one year and rubbing it in everyone's faces that would crack on me for being a Browns fan......as for the Buckeyes, 10 years of horrible = Cooper as coach. They did have their good years with Cooper, but it was few. He couldnt really beat Michigan though.....making it a horrible year for OSU fans. But OSU fans aren't crazy, so what we like to flip a few cars over here and there then set them on fire, doesn't everyone. We just love our team. And guess who has tickets to the OSU > Michigan game... <<<< this guy
