I know! i should have gotten some drag slicks, i was close to getting some, but i want to know how you are shifting?? i want to get my stock shifter in there. I hate that short shifter. Also i want to get it tuned soon, i should well be in the 12's! Thanks Linn!

 

that shifter is fine leave it in there, i didnt have any problems with it. i would look at your clutch petal first what is that squeak???

i have tried everything to get rid of that damn freaking squeak!! Its just the pedal, and i dont need a new clutch, but yes its freaking annoying as hell!!

This is the race i lifted just be for the 1320 because i was watching anthony in my rear view and not the finish line. it possibly could have been my best pass of the day. I also think that is anthony's best pass of the day.

The track was pretty green when I was there on Wednesday.

 

We pulled a 11.289 @ 121.98 (1.76 60') with the turbo Grand Prix I've been fucking with. We're a good lunch a bit more boost away from 10's.

I was there with Shep (Talon that went 7.7@188) and the Turbo bikes (same ones on 480 every weekend).

 

The GP runs good, but it sounds like shit. The 3.8 (GN and FWD GTP version) are likely the worst “sounding” motor every created. I would rather hear a bridge port NA rotary at full song.

I tried to spray once. I set it to spray 1 second after the car was in wot at a 30% start percentage. The ramp up time to 100% was 1 second. The 30% threw me into rev limiter something awful and the safety pill shut the spray off. Until I get it tuned I cant spray until 3rd.

in the primer vert. foxbody i ran 11.98 at 115, my dad who is 120lbs lighter went 11.95 at 116. I went 10.92 at 134 on my zx-12r, my buddy kevin ran a 10.37 at 137 on the same bike....damn my fat ass..lol.

I saw that too; I wanted to stop and see if he could use my spare trailer wheel/tire, but was 3 lanes over in the slow lane.

Mechanically, the car runs great. There's some tuning issues leftover that need work, no biggie.

 

My 60' sucked, I was hitting the rev limiter deep between 1-2 and 2-3 shifts, and the car is making no power under 4k RPMs due to a very rich condition (affecting my off-line torque, not helping my 60'). I'm missing half of my slips, including my first race against Linn, I probably don't remember where I left them thanks to my sleep-lacking stupor. I do remember a pass where I trapped 105.xx in the 1/8 and let out due to some reason or another. I was gaining 26mph in the last half of the track all day, so that should have been a 131.xx pass, but shit happens.

 

The under-4K shit is being taken care of, as well as the rev limiter issues. I'm hoping to have the car back to a track before year's end. Thanks.

The white grandma car went 15.3 @ 88.1.

21570R15 tires and an open diff make for poor launching. I only got 2 good lauches, the rest where an extension of the burnout box for the first 150'.

Its cool, I took the TA off the trailor and played with my spray the whole way home I didnt have a spare tire to put on it so I weighted down the left side so that it would keep the blown tire in the air.
