BloodRed
The war is 5 years old, soooo...OK, inflation..got it. And the price of ammo has been going up ever since then. Most of the same factories we buy our ammo at Wal-mart from also supply the US government. Most of them are runing at 90-100+% right now to keep up with the demand of the private and government orders. When there isn't a war going on, they only run at 10-20%. So they have to hirer on more workers and run more shifts to fill the orders. The government has a set price with those supplies on how much they can be charged. So they have to pass on the increase to someone and the private market is who gets it. I have heard many of calibers that our soldiers use are pretty hard to find at a store anymore. And if you do find them, the price is pretty high.
