i can't explain why it was done like this. your logic sounds accurate to me. i will def do some research into this though, i to am intrigued by the procedure. it sounds to me the cooling would be more efficient after the air has been compressed. on the other hand spraying high pressured water into the carb, which is basically what you would be doing, just doesn't seem right.

True, maybe it's different with a carb setup. But usually the water is sprayed fine enough that it's pretty much evaporated before it hits the cylinders.

First off, the car is friggin bad ass! Great job building it.

 

Second, Its a crank drivin Centrifical super charger, not a turbo.

 

Third, I don't know what people are taking about when they say the radiator is to big. The black radiator on the passenger side is a trans cooler. If you take the other one and lay it down the way that it is normally mounted you will see that it is rather small. and remember he said that you might see him on the street.
