Power wise, And what would it be good for Turbo, N/A, NOS?..

Good with a turbo because it has 112 centers which keeps overlap down. Definately not the best N/A cam

Nitrous cam. You'd want a bigger intake duration than exhaust duration for a turbo cam (reverse split) or opposite plus a 114+ lobe separation for a blower.

This is who you need to contact for both small block ford and LSX cams.

 

 

Trust me his cams make power in a 5 liter. His cams have a unique sound and I swear I can tell by the idle and part throttle of car when someone is running his cam. I have done it time and time again.

 

I have seen close to 400 rwhp with his cam in a 331.

FWIW, I used to work with Jay @ Camhaft innovations, he made several cams for me. His support and followup was horrible and i wasnt THAT happy with his cams, he is very smart however.

 

I switched to Ed @ Flowtech, do what he tells you to do. My car picked up nearly 100rwhp JUST from switching from a CI cam/valvetrain to Ed's valvetrain and cam.

 

Additionaly there is no one cam that works best for every turbo car. There is a whole lot that goes into picking the right cam for a turbo application.

Bah, there is a lot more that goes into it than that. You can run some big cams on stock pistons depending on how it set up.
