OSUPITTSBURGH427
My roommate placed an order and has gotten word that his new rifle is built. He is in Iraq right now and I will be the one who picks it up for him. Here is the website for the gun.... http://www.deserttacticalarms.com/photo-gallery.html So my question is where can I/He shoot a .338 Lapua Magnum? Scotty2Hotty
The South End? 161 area wouldn't be a bad choice either. Tell em you're hunting potential Somalian Pirates. http://www.appletreeblog.com/wp-content/2008/09/somali-pirate.jpg Tell him to invest in a good spoting scope, and a range book. If he doesn't have any experience in long distance calling, he might need to get some read on. Avenger1647545502
Zanesville Rifle Club has a 300 yard range, but good luck getting ahold of their treasurer for a membership.
LJ
Well, the website isn't loading, but Briar Rabbit is a public range and has a 400 yard range
ohmr95b
I am a bit late to the party, but Briar Rabbit is a good choice or there is: Big Darby Creek Shooting Range, 875 Middle Pike, West Jefferson, OH 43162. Phone: 614-879-0457 I took a carbine class at that range and it is pretty nice. They have a 300 yard range. Sweet rifle BTW

Dave1647545494
I think that thing might make 300 yards kind of boring get on ODNR's website it has a list of all the free public ranges in ohio some of them are pretty big deercreek is sticking in my head for some reason, but I don't remember how long it is
LJ
The state ranges aren't free....
simonzayne
No the state ranges aren't free but they are pretty cheap. You have to get your pass before you go, anywhere that sells hunting/fishing licenses can sell you one.
