Place for Pictures

I have found some nice spots downtown, but I can't get my pictures to come out very good at all. Thing about the parking garages down there is that they charge you, but you get a nice backround. There is also some good looking buildings down there to park in front of. If I could get the pics to stop coming out blurry as all hell, I'd love to do this.

Tripod!

I'm no pro, I don't have a tripod, but you need to keep the camera stable somehow at night. If you don't have a tripod, in lots of urban settings you can find some place to put the camera on something. For example I think behind COSI there are concrete 'pillars' to keep you from being able to drive up into the back of the steps. They are about 3 feet high or so. Should be able to find lots of stuff like this around town.

Wth. You dont need to be a pro to own a tripod...

I didn't say that. I said that I don't have one, because I'm not a 'pro' (even prosumer for cameras). Not that you need to be a pro to own one. Two different things and I stated the first, not the second. I figured it would be easy to imply from what I wrote, that what I described will work and do in a pinch, but a tripod is better if you are serious about it. But since it clearly wasn't, there it is.
