iwishiwascool
I have processed more than 12k through paypal in the last decade with out a single complaint or refund. I sold something on ebay last week and was informed that in addition to the 2% increase since the last time I sold something of significance, I would have to wait 26 days before the funds are released. Really? This together with eBay's ridiculous final value fee increases compels me to say goodbye to eBay.

iwishiwascool
! I even searched for paypal. The same lack of attention that led to my not realizing that they drastically changed their policies.
dakotart
I bought an item on ebay on Monday, selected "Credit card" as the source of funding. Paypal processed a credit card transaction however it was to my checking account and not my credit card. Just glad I caught it so I didn't overdraft my checking account. Ramsey
I have yet to have any real problems with ebay or paypal. I sold an item a few weeks ago and there was no hold. I would like to add, fuck UPS!
iwishiwascool
Looks like it is certain categories that they are doing this. Mine was in consumer electronics which is a "high risk" category. $300 item, 10 for paypal $20 for ebay... and they still can't turn a fucking profit. iwishiwascool
Sounds like a money laundry to me If I had a goal of laundering money and had only processed 12K in a decade I would call myself a failure.
KentStateTsi
I too sold something on ebay recently and the funds were put on "hold". The only way it will be released early is if the buyer gives + feedback or when it is delivered. I only do ~$1500 a year with ebay/paypal and this really suprised me. Radio Flyer1647545514
FYI, you can skip fees if you send payment as "Personal" I always use the Living Expense but any of them work.

Don't mind him he is little time, besides every one knows you launder money through cash only places like pizza places and bars and such. Clifford Automotive
I bought an item on ebay on Monday, selected "Credit card" as the source of funding. Paypal processed a credit card transaction however it was to my checking account and not my credit card. Just glad I caught it so I didn't overdraft my checking account. You had it set up that way... I just made a purchase and noticed that it didnt go through my account. Looked on PP and it was pending to a closed account. Luckily my bank denied it and didnt accept and charge me the extra fees. (Just because an account is closed doesnt neccesarily mean it cant be charged to) Any way I went into PP and change my account setting and everything was Kosher.
