Dunno. I thought a blu ray player laser is like 10-15 mw and green lasers are 20+ mw.

Just don't point it at CPD aircraft. Like the the one guy did, and the cops found the laser was mounted to an AR-15.

You can overload the DVD-RW lasers up to 30mw, but you will need some good cooling or it will burn up in a minute or two.

Just go on ebay, get a diode, enclosure, and a driver and you can build some pretty dangerous/fun laser. Before mine wore out it would burn things quick enough that you could easily write stuff on paper.
