Finally got the 68 nova back, not sure bout it

I'm decently happy with how it turned out. Although after driving it for a couple days, not sure it's for me. I'm 6'4" and while I'm cool with around town driving, it gets super duper cramped after about 30 minutes. May be better suited for a Chevelle or something more fat/tall friendly. But I dunno, I may keep it. Perhaps some low-rise buckets are in order.

Regardless I'm going to be either trading it or working on it (with Rob's help) over the winter.

Here's some pics, she's purrdy atleast.

I would just figure out a way to fix the seating position.

Have Rob fab up some custom seat brackets to lower the seat and set it farther back.

thats what i was about to say..i have fit plenty of fat guys in small cars..

try someone your size in a caged vega....then you can talk about crapped!

oh and that bench seat has to suck

Only been on 33 in it twice, but good times.

Rob, what kind of buckets do you suggest? I'm down to drop it off whenever. It's getting too cold to enjoy it anyway.

well i can make anything fit/work...all will depend on what fits you to your liking......i'll see what i can dig up. but for sure stay away from those cheap poly seats

What about some factory F-body or Corvette seats? Not sure what kind of price they pull, but it might be an option.

the older 67-69 camaro buckets are a direct bolt in....too..

but i think some new vette seats may not do the trick. i know how the side bolsters like to break down with larger drivers.

I know procar makes some good buckets. . . but racing seats for a fat guy? Come on pimp.

every thing is a racing seat .

This style would be ideal. These are 67 camaro seats. Very low.

I would actually prefer a set that reclines tho. See what you have laying around. I've seen some people use S10 blazer seats and those looks pretty sexy.

Its not like his going to be auto crossing it.

On a side note- Pics of said driver?

I think the wedding pic made me look fatter than I actually am. Perhaps not tho. Here's a better one, where I try to look less fat:
