Might i make a suggestion for you guys buying flowers?

 

Maybe buy her a live plant of flowers, (like say a rose bush, instead of a cut roses) or something similar?

 

Also, Etsy.com usually has themed gifts around the holidays featured on thier front page.

 

I also like that you can shop by color! Pick your girlfriend/wifes favorite color and shop by that!

I think either cooking a meal together or cooking a meal for her would trump taking her out somewhere but that's me and I actually like to cook. Plan a menu salad, main course dessert and a nice wine to make the meal better and sure fire winner IMO.

 

Some gifts won't hurt but making her something would go a lot further.

I've heard good things about Vonn Jazz Club off of Rt. 23. I used to go to the one on 161 in Worthington and if it was a nice mixed crowd. The live music was pretty good as well.

thanks ill look that up, we will be down town for kevin hart then i wanna go to a real smooth spot with nice music and a place to sit and chill

Ive done a photoshoot in there, its a pretty swank place. I imagine its a really nice night for jazz there.

Vonn Jazz, even though their acoustics are shitty. The food and drink were good, nice place other than the acoustics and it seems like they get a lot of good talent in there. http://www.vonnjazz.com/

 

I'm sad I only had a chance to go to Martini Park once.

 

Edit: Pedro beat me to it, but I'll second it. The band playing on the 14th seems pretty good from the 30 seconds I listened to them.
