Where do you store gun in car?

Is your gun always on you? Do you have a holster between seats or under a seat? Just trying to find out some other options. I usually always have it on me but sometimes that is uncomfortable.

The new silverados have a lockbox in them. I store the gun there when i am not taking it with me. I clip it to somewhere on me when driving.

I have a lock box I bolted in my truck. A few companies make them like Aries Automotive, Smittybilt etc... It'll fit a full size 1911 + mags.

I always have it on me and have just gotten use to it. I've kicked around the idea of a mounted holster/box for the DD, but never actually delved into it.

I just toss one on the dash. And put the shotty on the back window.

I normally have it on me unless its more then a 20 min drive then it goes in my center console. I have also tossed around a lockbox under my seat or something, that would be the only way I would leave a gun in the car for an extended amount of time.

If not on me...sits in cupholder right beside me. Never really not on me though.

I keep mine in the glove box...if i had a center console, itd be there

I keep mine on me. The few times I didn't was for a long drive and I just put it in the center console.

Just an FYI a pistol makes a hell of a projectile in an accident.

Usually on me but sometimes in the glovebox, Ive also looked into holsters between the drivers seat and the console but just haven't pulled the trigger on it yet.

I usually wear OWB so it stay on me and I stay plenty comfortable. Even IWB I tend to keep it on me. I've looked into different vehicle holsters such as ones that strap to the steering column though.

Under driver's seat no holster and one in the pipe... OR holstered and on me.
