Limitedslip7
Saw this bike on geartrade. Any opinions on it? Apparently Iron Horse used to be a decent quality bike company before going bankrupt in 2009 and were then bought out. Now their models sell for $300 at Sears... http://www.geartrade.com/item/187309

Not to mention thats a free ride bike, if you are gonna ride alum, i would avoid that. Id get strictly a cross country bike.

3.1cutlass
Okay, I think I might have found my bike, can you guys give your opinions on this: http://columbus.craigslist.org/bik/2852739576.html Looks like a good deal. I would go for it. All you full suspension haters need to ride one. I was skeptical at first coming from a hard tail 29er but after 3 years on a full suspension 29er I will never go back. The bike is more comfortable, easier to control and I can descend much faster. I'll come smoke some people on it sometime.
Trouble Maker
The bike is more comfortable... This is mainly why I want one. I just don't want to spend the money on one right now.
Limitedslip7
The guy sold the Giant when I was on my way down there to look at it. I think I'm pretty much set on a Fuel EX now unless I find a really good deal on something similar. Trek Sawmill has a 17.5" 2011 EX 7 for $1600, but I haven't been able to talk myself into spending that much yet...
3.1cutlass
The Fuel Ex is an awesome bike and that is a pretty good price but honestly the Fuel ex is a long travel "trail" bike rather than an XC bike. My buddy races one and really like it though.
