y2k2gt Posted April 21, 2012 Author Report Share Posted April 21, 2012 I have two 2"x12" on the drivers side to get the car high enough I can open the door over the fender. When loading the car I lift my self up with my left arm and left leg to look out the window so I dont hit the fender. As the front tire went over the front board it bounced the car back a little and caused my to lose my balance. That caused me to go wot and you see the result. spaulsen Posted April 21, 2012 Report Share Posted April 21, 2012 damn, that sucks! hopefully you shut it off quick enough. cant imagine how pissed you was. i had a simular thing happen. was towing my truck home and someone pulled out in front of us. i jammed the brakes, rachet strap broke, truck flew into the bed of the truck. totally sucks! y2k2gt Posted April 21, 2012 Author Report Share Posted April 21, 2012 Nope, just bent the jack a little. I was able to jack the front of the car up. Then I used the 8' ramps under the front wheels supported by jack stands to push the car back on the trailer. Glad it didnt happen at the track. y2k2gt Posted April 28, 2012 Author Report Share Posted April 28, 2012 Well, I fixed the car already. I still had a stock oil pan with bungs welded on it. I swapped it out without pulling the front cover this time. It was a pain... Took me a couple hours, so I guess not to bad. I got a new scavenger pump and plumbed it in with all new a/n fittings. I replaced the headlight panel. The new one was $26 shipped. It was made out of plastic and lighter than the stocker.
