Ramsey
I need to get rid of the 3.73s and hopefully the whine. What is this going to cost me?
GSXRAntwon
Call Babbit Bearing on Frank Rd. The guy is a G and doesn't charge much
Buckeye1647545503
Babbit is very good. I thought you were raving fan of "not to be mentioned" why not have him do it ?
gbracing81
I just sent sent a truck out to have that done. The estimate came back at $3900.00. Not an ideal price but gives you something to think about.

POS VETT
At $3900, I'd buy a new axle assembly and pocket the extra money ...
DKilbourne
I need to get rid of the 3.73s and hopefully the whine. What is this going to cost me? Babbit just told me that it would be $175 to do a gear in my 8.8. Of course that is just taking the rear end to him. Not sure what he would charge if you drove it over. They do have a lift, so I'd say call Gary, I think that's his name, and find out.
gbracing81
I guess I should have mentioned that $3900 was for a Freightliner. :lolguy: But hey, OP didn't specify what he needs gears for. :lolguy:

Dave1647545494
Rob Lasota did the gears in my old car. I don't know if he is still on here or not.... Price was reasonable.
TurboNova
Martin Motorsports is around 150 to setup a rear end. Im not sure if he will do it for that price on the car or just the bench, worth a call to him though.
