PERHAPS YOU'VE NOTICED THIS, CR... After discussing with my wife over the last couple of weeks, I've been on the hunt...but given my goal of under $7500 it's been humbling to say the least. While down in Naples this past weekend, I thought I'd pay Auto Europa a visit (www.mercedesexpert.com) and talk to Ed...let him know what I was looking for: convertible, RWD, 4-seater, stick, under $7500, buy it sometime in the next few months. He suggests I look at his personal car, as he was looking to get rid of it. I see it, test drive it on the spot, LOVE IT, and ink a deal this morning. Gotta run some errands, just got back from FL. Interior is a 9.5/10. Leather has no scratches whatsoever. - Well-equipped, PW/PL/cruise/dual climate/AC/heated seats. Sean (Crossle) told me to test drive an E36, that it's a more "pure" drivers car than the E46 and he was absolutely right. This car fits me like a glove. However, I definitely needed a better 10-year car than my Passat and I feel that I found it.
