I have your number....I'll text you some links as I find stuff to get your input. I pretty much know what I want. Just a matter of sitting down and doing it. I like that bocote wood but want to look at some other woods too. Something like that on a Damascus blade. Should be a good looking knife.

Agreed. Hit me up.

I'm gonna be putting a handle on a damascus soon. Hope I don't eff it up. lol

Four more blanks finished. The top scales are wood & acrylic made by hand (not by me), the second are blue dyed maple scales made and stabilized by hand (also not by me), and the bottom two are G10 scales (bought at SMKW by my brother as part of my Christmas gift from him).

I actually like the way they look better on my phone than on my old laptop. Some of the luster seems lost on here.

I am currently using blanks. I usually just sharpen them a bit more at the angle they come at.

The angles I personally prefer for the types of knives I use are anywhere between 25-35 degrees just as an all around chopper/cutter. For skinning knives I like them about 20 degrees.

Restoration for a good friend of mine that some of you know. His uncle made this entirely by hand decades ago. It was passed down to him when his uncle passed away. He just wanted it restored/cleaned up so he could kind of display it as a family heirloom.
