bruisedk7
i will prob be ordering my tires for the jeep mid-end week and having a hard time deciding on a mud tire. this is my daily driver so i looking for somethin that will do good on and off road in all conditions. i think i have it narrowed down to 4 different tires that cost around $170 each. pro comp m/t, cooper discoverer stt, dick cepek mud country, and super swamper trxus m/t anybody ever use any of these. i have done a little research on all these and they all seem to be about the same tire and infact the 1st 3 brands are actually all made by the same company (cooper tires). any opinions or thoughts would be appreciated
bruisedk7
i got an online quote for the cooper stt from a place in deleware for $766 + tax (including tire protecting) which puts the tires around $150 for just the tire. unless i can get a better price or someone informs me that these are no good then i will prob get these
Ghost954rr
I have a 2000 wrangler (lifted) as my daily driver. I run BFGoodrich All Terrain TA K/O's 32x11.50R15. They do great on the road and better than any other All terrain I've had off road. I've been pleasantly surprised. I didn't think they would be THAT much better than the Pro Comp all terrains I had earlier. I haven't checked prices in a couple years, so I'm not sure how much a set would cost. What size are you looking to run?
max power
You're not going to touch BFG's for anything close to $150 per. I have run them exclusively for years, but this time they wanted almost $900/set for 31 10.50's.I went with the Yokohama Geolandar A/T's. Havent been off road with them yet, but they are good in the wet.
bruisedk7
i'm gonna run 31x10.5r15 on my stock suspension for now then in about a year or so (depending on my finances and family situation) then gonna put a 3-4" lift on it and run 33's. i looking for mud tires and the bfg's dont seem to be available in a 31 in the original mud terrian km and the new km2's are freakin expensive plus i dont like the tread pattern
