Now I know. Fortunately my buddy Greg and his Can-am Outlander Max 800R V-twin EFI 4x4 LTD Special (whew) towed me 2 miles out with a rachet strap. max power Posted November 29, 2009 Author Report Share Posted November 29, 2009 It is a quad and that is a part called the carburetor joint, and yes, it is smoked. It is made of rubber with a metal ring at each end. It split right between the rings.good times!Moral of the story? Always carry a roll of electrical tape on the trail.
