That looks spot on to me! Just make sure the straps are attached really really tight, heaven forbid he fell off you want to make sure you don't lose him.

By thethering him to the bike you can rest easy knowing as soon as you realize and stop he'll be there! :)

The only additional appliance I could see adding benefit is a cinder block tethered to the boy, should he break free from you. That way when he gets off he doesn't slide for a week. :D

This might be a problem, adding the extra weight would slow them down. To get the maximum amount of fun in for the whole family you need to be able to go as fast as possible, sometimes you have to sacrifice a little safety to achieve that goal. You wouldn’t want to disappoint the little one by making him cry because he had to go slow would you?

Put him on a Honda. They'll still go plenty fast. :D:honda:

I'd suggest bungie straps. That way, if he falls off, once he makes contact with the ground and bounces, he will sling shot back to the bike and you can retrieve and reset.

Think paddle ball...

Brian, I think you are on to something here. This could be a freaking sport.

Now, with the "Bungee Butt jump with a twist into flip combo", Brian and his kid... Could work! I call dibs before they make it an Olympic sport...

The trick is getting a good bounce off the road. Tends to scrub off skin in certain parts, but kids heal pretty quick and shouldn't be too aweful. "Walk it off son"...
