Once you go black.....

Need opinions on what to do to dress up the great white whale.

The Bowtie emblem is cracked (bugs the shit out of me) and I want to replace it. The nose currently looks like this:

I have been trying to decide which aftermarket replacement badge to put on it, Billet, chrome or black seem to be my only choices other than OEM.

I have it narrowed down to these:

Black

Chrome:

and Billet with outline:

Keep in mind that it also needs tires and I am also considering having the wheels PC'd black :dunno:before I do it since they are getting a little corrosion on them, which also bugs the shit out of me.

What would you guys do? Any other wheel colors you would consider?

Since it's a Chevy, a pint or so of gas in can and a match under the engine will give you a nice dark color to offset all that white. :)

I'd go with the billet the chrome would blend in and the black would look like the gold bow tie had fallen off IMO.

Good point. Not sure that the chrome blending in would be a bad thing, but I do like the traditional outline on the billet.

Definitely not doing the wheels in white....as baller as that may be. Thinking flat black (to eliminate worrys about scratches) or maybe gray like it is now, or charcoal...but the interior is tan, so that probably wouldnt look right.
