They debuted in Daytona this year. They say they will be touring the states with the bike, to show people and check what people think. Some of us would like to go see it when it gets around.

edit: It will be riding around the US, not trailered...

We've had threads on this before. Regardless, I followed the engine development program for this bike, then was a little disappointed when I saw the kind of bike they were throwing it into... I hope the come out with a naked sport (a la Z1000, Street triple), or full on supersport with that engine.

Looks like half a Chevy V8-that's some impressive torque! I wonder why they put the engine longitudinal with the chain drive, though? Packaging? Plans for a range of sport thru ST/Connie size bikes down the road?

It's like a VFR/Sprint with twice the power, should be a good time.
