attentiongetter92
Well share em! I can't seem to get good video from my hero HD. So what settings/door do you use? Feel free to post videos!
blue03636
I use 720 60 frames/sec. Had to cut the quality a tad to get it to fit onto youtube.
Mykill
I use 720 60 frames/sec. Had to cut the quality a tad to get it to fit onto youtube. How did you do that slow motion effect Thats the setting I use as well and video quality seems solid....With the R3 720p 60fps youtube and rendering video cuts the quality some but yahttp://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Bm3aisePxeM Edited October 24, 2011 by Mykill
blue03636
slow motion? You mean when I locked the shit out of the rear trying to back it in.
RSparky
i just use r2. it's 30fps at the max youtube will allow. i think that's 720, but don't really remember. haven't recorded anything since school started. but it looked fine to me when i was watching stuff. op, it sucks at dusk or nighttime. also, you have to have a solid mounting point. ninjadoc has a thread in "ride routes and reports" with some good ideas for damping vibration if that's your issue. attentiongetter92
I've been using r4 but my memory is getting ate up pretty quick(8mb card). The issue I'm having is by going to r5, it takes bad video and I have to aim my camera up or else I just video the road. And alls I hear is wind noise unless I'm revving past 8k. Waterproof door is on.
attentiongetter92
Just checked out ninja doc's thread, guess I'll try out the non waterproof door and see where that gets me.
rslocum
720 30fps
RSparky
i can see how using it would give you more wind noise. think of putting a seashell up to your ear. even though it's quiet around you, sound is bounced back into your ear. so in the box, all the buffeting can't leave out the back, but rattles the microphone instead.the waterproof door can also lead to condensation in there. blue03636
If your doing any high speed stuff (forget the footpeg speed listed) you have to use the waterproof case. If not the wind noise will be super loud.
NinjaDoc
r3 720 with 60 fpsit gives reasonable clarity, wide angle view and 60 fps to make slow motion video as need ( like this >> http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ByNk3_8jwOQ ) A plain unedited view is like this, non water proof cover mounted on helmet, going at avg 65 to 75 may be http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Gp7UgsKGWS4 Edited October 24, 2011 by NinjaDoc
