Blitz Posted April 5, 2012 Report Share Posted April 5, 2012 (edited) I bought this bike last year....1997 ZX6-R. It had a new paint job but no decals. I have been debating whether to buy new fairings, or to paint it another color, or to wrap it in vinyl. After finding out the fairings were half the cost of the bike and realizing that I would have to either have the rims painted another color or work with them.....I decided just to buy some custom decals that were OEM style but custom colors that matched the rims. I think the bike looks so much better now that she has her Kawasaki proudly displayed on her tank. Turned out to be the best solution, I think. And without the green, pink, and purple that Kawasaki put on Ninjas in the nineties I'd say it looks better than it did when it came off the assembly line.
