buildit
Do you deer hunt in Ohio? If so, do you own land to hunt or brave the public lands? I only have one deer hunting gun that's legal in Ohio and I've never hunted with it.http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3UMlbboQzs8So should I try this year? speedytriple
Public land is not so bad I have been doing this for the past few years. Not sure of public land by you but I have been using west branch for bow hunting. Last year I did leesville and woodbury for shotgun season. I say go for it. speedytriple
What kind of slug did you shoot at that steel at 200 feet? Was it rifled or sabot?
bowdog
I do a lot of hunting but never hunt public land during shotgun. Hell its bad enough keeping people off private land during gun season.

flounder
Well aware of that and to date not one has been shot He is not a good hunterAgain, thats not hunting, its poaching. And whether he hits one or not, the fact that he attempted to is still considered poaching as soon as he fired a weapon at an animal that is not approved for that season. POACHING..... Gump
I poach ladybugs because they're cunts.Really though, as a land owner, poaching's not cool. Poaching is also defined as the cityiots, it's brown it's down assholes, who trespass while trying to hunt legal game in season with the proper equipment but without permission from the land owner. Hate those f*ckers. They think any patch of woods is fair game and deer magically repopulate after they slaughter them. Sorry, carry on. ScubaCinci
A guy I work with hunts in KY and OH on private land. He doesn't like venison so I pay to have it prepared and I eat well for months
Pokey
Several counties in Ohio should allow rifle hunting, allowing no rifles to be used is ludicrous.
dstegjas
I have hunted both public and private lands over the years. All have been down in the Wayne National area. Morgan and Athens county to be exact. Bow, Muzzleloader and shotgun/pistol helps extend the season.Jim
